How to Get Secrets in Spin a Catboy
Official rates, a bankroll plan, and why cheap packs are a trap.
Secrets are the collection chase in Spin a Catboy. Mugpugs did not hide the math in a Discord screenshot. The Roblox description states it in plain text: Secrets are 1/100 from Eclipse packs, 1/150 from packs that cost 50B, and 1/100,000 in all the other packs. Super Secret is about 1/10 of that. This page is how to hunt those lines without pretending a common crate is a strategy.
If your Base is still empty, you do not have a Secret problem. You have a getting started problem.
Translate the rates into packs you will actually open
Eclipse, 1/100. One hundred Eclipse opens is the average Secret, not a guarantee. You can dry 200. You can hit on 3. Plan cash for a stack, not for a single emotional click.
50B packs, 1/150. Slightly worse. Use them when Eclipse is stocked out or when 50B is the labeled crate. They are still in the “serious hunt” bucket.
Other packs, 1/100,000. One hundred thousand opens. If a cheap pack costs even a tiny slice of your income, this rate is a hobby, not a method. Fill slots with them, then walk away.
Super Secret, about 1/10 of Secret. Eclipse Super Secret sits near 1/1,000. Trash Super Secret sits near 1/1,000,000. Do not hunt Super Secret on cheap crates.

A hunt that respects the bankroll
- Fill the Base. Income first.
- Buy income nodes on the plot and the Skill Tree.
- Save until you can open several Eclipse or 50B packs in a row. One pack is a sample size of one.
- Put a luck node or the LUCK pass (119 Robux) in right before the stack if you were going to buy it anyway. Do not impulse-buy LUCK mid-dry-streak.
- Open, place, and stop when the stack is gone. Do not “just one more” on 1/100,000 crates to soothe the dry streak.
2X CASH (59 Robux) helps the save-up. Auto Skip (79) helps the stack. Mutation Hunter (799) is unrelated to Secret rates; it is a mutate pass. VIP (119) is comfort. None of them change 1/100 into 1/10.
What to do when a Secret actually drops
Place it. Upgrade it. Do not sell it to buy twenty cheap packs. A Secret is a plot engine and a collection trophy. Check the Catboy tier list and the Catboys hub for how we treat the Secret band versus commons.

Dry streaks are normal
1/100 means 99 Eclipse packs pay no Secret. People post the 1/3 clip, not the 0/80 evening. If you cannot stomach that, play the incremental loop and treat Secrets as a bonus. Offline Earnings and Base upgrades still move the account while luck does nothing.
Codes will not print a Secret. ILOVECATS and RELEASE are starter fuel. Spend them on land and cheap fills, not on a fantasy of a guaranteed Eclipse.

Super Secret is a side quest
Hunt Super Secret only after Secrets already sit on the plot. Use Eclipse, never trash crates. At ~1/1,000 you need a real bankroll and a calm evening. If the title is in a 2X cash event, farm cash, then open Eclipse. A 2X tag does not automatically mean 2X luck; check latest updates.
