Fast Earnings in Spin a Catboy
The income stack that separates a 50B carry from a broke beginner.
Spin a Catboy is an incremental simulator. That means the entire game is a numbers go up machine, and the only question is how fast the numbers go up. This guide is the income stack — every multiplier, every decision, every timing trick that changes the rate on your cash counter. Pair it with the Skill Tree guide for the account-level nodes and the Base upgrade guide for the plot-level decisions.
If you opened packs but your cash ticker barely moves, the problem is not luck. The problem is the income stack.
The five income layers
Layer 1 — placed Catboys. Every unit on the plot contributes a base income per second. This is the foundation. A placed common earns something. A placed Secret earns more. An empty slot earns zero. Nothing in this guide matters until units are on the Base. See upgrade the Base if slots are empty.
Layer 2 — Base upgrades. Plot-level income multipliers apply to every placed unit. Each node on the plot raises the global rate. Buy plot nodes in this order: cheapest income multiplier first, then extra slots, then more expensive multipliers. Never buy a cosmetic node while an income node sits unowned. See the upgrade the Base page for the exact session template.
Layer 3 — Skill Tree. Account-wide nodes that multiply everything. Income nodes here stack with Layer 2. Buy the cheapest global income node first, then expand wide across branches rather than deep into one expensive branch. A wrong 50B node is a scar; a cheap wide tree is a platform. See the Skill Tree guide for the first-five purchases and the respec warning.
Layer 4 — 2X CASH pass. The 59 Robux gamepass doubles all cash income permanently. It stacks with Layers 2 and 3. If you were going to spend Robux on anything, 2X CASH is the one that changes your daily income, not just your mood. See the gamepasses page for how it compares to Mutation Hunter and LUCK.
Layer 5 — [2X] title events. When the Roblox experience title carries a 2X flag, cash income is boosted for the duration. This is a listing flag, not a pass. It stacks with 2X CASH. Redeem codes and collect offline earnings during the window. Do not assume luck doubled — the 2X events page explains why Eclipse stays 1/100 even when the name is loud.
The Eclipse farming loop
Eclipse packs cost the most and carry the best Secret odds at 1/100. They also represent the single largest income jump available: a placed Secret earns more per second than any combination of commons. The fastest path to serious income is not a shortcut. It is:
- Stack cash using Layers 1–4.
- Open Eclipse packs one at a time, placing the result before opening the next.
- When a Secret lands, that is the moment the income stack scales.
The pack tier list has the full crate ranking. The how to get Secrets page has the odds breakdown. This page has the income logic: Secrets pay for future Eclipse packs faster than commons ever could.
The 50B decision
A pack that costs 50B in-game cash is not a beginner purchase. At Layer 1 only, 50B takes days. At Layer 2 with several plot nodes, it takes fewer days. At Layer 3 with a Skill Tree income node, fewer still. The 2X CASH pass (Layer 4) and a 2X title event (Layer 5) together can cut the grind dramatically.
The correct answer to “should I buy a 50B pack now?” is: “only if my Base is full and my Skill Tree has at least one income node.” An empty plot does not scale with a 50B crate.
Offline Earnings timing
Offline Earnings collect based on what was placed when you disconnected. The most common beginner mistake is to stay online rearranging the plot instead of logging out with a full Base. The offline earnings page covers the mechanics; this page covers the strategy: log out with every slot filled, with the best units placed, with at least one Skill Tree node bought.
Collect when you return. That collection is Layer 1–3 income, scaled by whether you held the 2X CASH pass and whether a 2X title was active. Offline Earnings are not a separate mechanic. They are the income stack, collecting while you are away.
What does not change income
- Mutation Hunter does not raise income. It mutates a unit you already own. A mutated common is still a common with extra steps.
- Opening 1/100,000 packs does not change the income stack. It adds noise.
- Redeeming codes raises cash temporarily but does not change the per-second rate.
- A script that promises auto-farm does not change anything that the income stack does not already cover.
The fast earnings session template
- Collect offline earnings from the overnight stack.
- Place any new units from storage.
- Buy one cheap plot income node.
- Open at most one Eclipse or 50B pack if you can afford it without emptying the bank.
- Place the result.
- Buy one Skill Tree income node if it is cheaper than 20% of a 50B pack.
- Log out with a full Base.
Repeat daily. That is the whole fast earnings loop.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What raises cash the fastest in Spin a Catboy?
Placing a Secret on the Base is the single biggest income jump. Before that, a full Base with plot nodes and at least one Skill Tree income node.
Does 2X CASH double offline earnings?
It doubles the per-second rate that offline earnings are calculated from. The offline window itself is not doubled by the pass.
Should I buy 50B packs as a beginner?
Only after the Base is full and a Skill Tree income node is bought. An empty plot cannot scale with a 50B crate.
Does the [2X] title event double Secret rates?
No. It doubles cash. Secret rates stay 1/100 Eclipse unless the description changes.
What is the fastest path to affording Eclipse?
A full Base, a Skill Tree income node, the 2X CASH pass, and logging out with Offline Earnings armed.
